PROKARYOTIC CELL
CHARACTERISTICS

1. Small in size.
2. Primitive cell.
3. Has few or no organelles.
4. Has no nucleus but has genetic material (DNA or RNA)
5. Has cell membrane and ribosomes.

Examples: Bacteria

EUKARYOTIC CELL

CHARACTERISTICS

1. Large in size.
2. Complex cell.
3. Has several organelles.
4. Has nucleus and genetic material inside.
5. Has cell membranes.

Examples: Cells in fungi, plants and animals, cells in human tissue.
